Sunbright Inn

A few months back I stayed at this absolutely beautiful hotel in the Library room on the 3rd floor. The bed was very comfortable! I was able to tour all the rooms while there and I will tell you the owners have put a lot of loving care into this building! I have stayed at almost every bed and breakfast in Savannah Ga and would say this hotel was nicer than all of them. Yes there is no breakfast but they had muffins in the room with coffee maker which was perfect till you can head out and get a bite to eat. I definitely would stay here again!!!

WOW, what a perfectly renovated property from the return of the century - and I mean everything, everywhere! Even the grounds are perfect. Our one-night stay was made special with us being the only check-in. we not only enjoyed the great Queen Anne room, but turned on holiday music, popped open the door and had a romantic coffee and dessert party in the main living room area. I have traveled well but the Sunbright Inn now take the #1 spot on the list of most beautiful historical places to stay.

Wonderful stay! Ellie and her family of In keepers were wonderful and welcomed us in on Halloween night. It was great to see them dressed up at trick or treating! Beautiful inside and so cozy, luxurious and comfortable Walking distance to Lake Defuniak and downtown

We live in South Walton and decided to go to Defuniak Springs on a date night (celebrating our 25th anniversary in January). Yes, we still go on dates. We had an amazing dinner at Iron & Grape and then retired to our beautiful room at Sunbright Inn. The room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. We intend to return and stay longer.

This facility is the most luxurious and exquisite experience you will EVER have in your life. The beds are *the most* comfortable thing I have ever laid on (like, seriously....what type of mattresses are those??) and the OBVIOUS amount of time, love, dedication and care that has went into the thoughtful preservation, restoration, design and arrangement of EACH area in this Inn is so above and beyond. When you stay here, it's TRULY like you walk back in time to the Victorian era, and you get to enjoy a brief snatch into what their life was like. 100% recommend it. Absolutely no drawbacks. I'll definitely be back.

The inn is SO beautiful and impeccably maintained. We were visiting family in town and needed a little overflow - what a treat it was to stay here! I have my master's degree in historic preservation and was impressed at the attention to detail throughout the room and common spaces, while still keeping it clean and updated for modern conveniences. The bathroom was huge, the bed was luxurious and fireplace such a cozy bonus (with the option for no heat because, Florida!). The smart tv, cute mini fridge and microwave were very convenient. The bonus morning muffins and cookies were a lovely surprise too! We took a run around the nearby Lake Defuniak with views of other beautiful historic homes. It's a lovely walk right from the inn. We will definitely be back!

Dream come true for our honeymoon! The attention to detail and overall atmosphere was exceptional. We have never experienced anything finer than this! We will be back for all our anniversaries!

There was 4 senior ladies. Our stay was extraordinary. The Inn, rooms & decor was spectacular. The host was very helpful with any needs we had. We will certainly let our family & friends know about this beautiful place. We came over to see the lights around the lake.
